Watch ‘Hamilton’ From the Comfort of Your Living Room Starting July 3

One of the most popular and critically acclaimed Broadway musicals of the last decade will be available for home streaming this Friday, just in time for the holiday weekend! We’re talking of course about Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Tony Award winning show Hamilton. The film version of the musical featuring the original Broadway cast will be available to stream on Disney Plus on July 3rd.

The movie was originally scheduled to hit movie theaters in October 2021. But with Broadway being shut down as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney decided to make it available on its subscription streaming service a lot sooner.

The only catch, of course, is that you will need to have a Disney Plus subscription to watch. Unfortunately there is no longer a free trial offer available, but with a monthly cost of $6.99, you can always cancel after one month and it will still cost a lot less than flying out to New York and buying a ticket to the live show. Since we won’t be able to see a live show on Broadway for a while now, hopefully this will help all you Hamilton fans get your fix.
